Songs Recorded by Other Artists
Cris Williamson and Teresa Trull recorded three Gary Marks compositions — "For Molly's Sky," "The Love We Take," and "Soulful Days" — on their 1989 album Country Blessed (Olivia Records/Second Wave).
Cris Williamson later included "Soulful Days" on The Essential Cris Williamson (2005), a career-spanning double-disc retrospective of her own selected essential songs.
Teresa Trull recorded Gary's song "Only Time Can Tell," and co-wrote and recorded the title track "A Step Away," on her 1986 album A Step Away (Redwood Records).
In 2025, Sony/Alamo Records artist Reuben Aziz recorded "IDOLS," co-written with Gary, from Aziz's mixtape how did we end up here? (Alamo Records/Sony Music Entertainment) — a release that drew co-signs from Stormzy and other major UK artists.
