Who has been your favorite musician to play with?
“I’ve been really fortunate to play with virtuoso
level players like John Scofield, Art Lande, Paul McCandless, David Samuels --
these guys are among the best in the world on their instruments, and also brilliant
creative minds. I learned so much from each of them. I also love playing with
my present band because we have the ability as a unit to get to a synchronized
place very quickly. I wouldn’t want to leave out what can happen in a great
group experience.”
